Ordering information:
1. Measure metal tube length.  Do not include nylon bushing.
2. Measure spiral rod length.  Make sure the rod is flush with the screw hole end of the tube before measuring.
3. Identify the color of the bushing - white, red or blue.  For repairs use the balances with the red bushing.  The spring tension can be easily adjusted with the 70-515 Tensioning Tool and 70-516 Accessory Tensioning Tool.  Blue bushing balances were never used on the original windows, but should be used when heavier glass was added.  Blue bushing balances can be special ordered.
4. Identify the appropriate carriers and related accessories: 72-Series Balances Carriers and Accessories.  If you want the ends attached, please, choose parts with the suffix "A".  The end is always attached to the second hole, while the first hole is used for the tension adjustment.
