These Offset Clips have a 1/4 inch (6.4 millimeter) offset which allows the clip to accommodate larger frames.

Using a number Eight Phillips Pan Head Sheet Metal Screw for wood, or a number 10-24 Phillips Pan Head Machine Screw for metal frames, the clips are secured to the window frame, then turned to secure the screen frame or to allow for easy screen removal.
