Using 1/4 to 5/16 inch (6 to 8 millimeter) thick glass shelves, the supports are completely adjustable to any vertical position on the 39 inch (1.0 meter) Rods, and can be rotated 90 degrees so that longer shelves can extend beyond the Upper and Lower Bracket Supports. The distance between the 14-1/4 inch (362 millimeters) long Bracket Supports should be spaced to allow for installation into wall studs, which will provide maximum support and stability.

The Rod Shelf System has a maximum weight capacity or 120 pounds (54 kilograms).
