This CRL Rixson® Model PH27 Offset Floor
Mounted Door Closer provides the best mechanical means of controlling a
door. The weight of the door is supported by the bottom arm, which is directly
connected to the floor closer spindle. The direct connection between the bottom
arm and the floor closer spindle creates a tremendous increase in closing
efficiency compared to surface or overhead concealed closers.
This closer
complies with guidelines established in the American With Disabilities Act
(ADA), 8.5 pounds* opening forces for handicap accessibility when used with 36"
(914 mm) wide doors. This closer is capable of supporting exterior or interior
doors weighing up to 350 pounds.
Standard features include selective on or off
hold-open, build-in positive dead stop, and separate independent valves for
closing, latch and back check adjustments.
