When demanding closer specifications are required, consider CRL PR42 ANSI Grade 1 Adjustable Spring Power Multi-Size Surface Mounted Door Closer. All CRL PR42 Series Closers are barrier-free (low opening resistance), with a lighter powered spring to provide adjustable door control from Size 2 through 5. Recommended for high traffic areas, such as public buildings, airports and shopping centers to meet A.D.A. accessibility requirements. Closing and latching speed controls are independently adjustable, and have an adjustable back check feature that helps prevent damage to the closer, door, and adjacent surface when the door is violently swung open due to wind or heavy pedestrian traffic.

The CRL PR40 Series has a compact design and shares the common 9-1/16 x 3/4 inch (230.2 x 19 millimeter) mounting hole template, making it ideal for both new and retrofit applications.

A Parallel Arm Bracket and mounting hardware are included with each closer permitting universal installation for regular, top jamb or parallel arm applications.

Optional accessories, such as Drop Plates and Hold Open Arms, are available for special installations.
