CRL J3 Taper Water Coolant Chuck

Build your own glass drilling machine by using this CRL Water Coolant Chuck and your industrial drill press. Perfect for high volume drilling of small pieces such as vases, lamps, and other small parts. Accepts our Belgian Threaded Drills, and provides optimum performance by supplying coolant continuously through the center of the drill. Coolant pressure ejects the core out of the diamond drill after drilling cycle is completed. Our Taper Type Water Coolant Chucks replace your machines adjustable jaw chuck. Hollow spindle machines will require a transition arbor of our supply.

The barbed water inlet fits your 3/8 inch I.D. supply hose. After extensive use, CRL Water Coolant Chucks can be rebuilt with the CRL Coolant Chuck Re-Build Kit which includes: two Bronze Bushings, Rubber Seals and Circlips. Always remember to use a ground fault interrupt circuit device GF1 when using electrical tools in wet areas.
Always wear the proper safety gear including gloves and eye protection when drilling glass. Work should be performed on a flat, horizontal surface. A Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter must be used when using any type of electric tool in conjunction with water or coolant. Failure to follow any of these precautions can result in operator injury.
