This CRL 4.8 VDC Cordless Sausage/Cartridge Caulking Gun operates on a 4.8 volt rechargeable battery and comes with a one hour charger. It can dispense from 15 to 16 sausage packs (20.3 fluid ounce (600 milliliter) or 30 to 32 standard size cartridges per full charge. It is ideal for glazing contractors, auto glass installers, building contractors, roofers, cabinet makers, OEM fabricators, window manufacturers, or anyone who applies a lot of sealant and wants an easier, more professional way of getting the job done, without the restrictions of cords or hoses.

The CG48SG features a variable speed dial for controlling the flow of the sealant; a patented drip less mechanism to prevent sealant run-on; a patented rapid plunger release mechanism with a quick release end cap for fast sausage or cartridge re-loading; a cut-off switch that stops the unit when the plunger reaches the end of the cartridge; the barrel swivels for easy handling around corners and in hard to reach areas; a soft grip handle for user comfort; a safety wrist strap; and a rugged plastic blow molded case to hold the gun, battery and charger.

Quickly change from sausage packs to standard size cartridges without having to change barrels. The total weight of the gun and battery is only 4.6 pounds (2.08 kilograms). The unit produces 467 PSI at the plunger, and 1,000 pounds of force. It offers a no-load speed of 9.45 inches (240 millimeters) per minute (cartridge), and under-load speed (with silicone) of 8.3 inches (211 millimeters) per minute (cartridge).
