The CRL Stanley FatMax™ Tape Rule has a 1-1/4 inch (32 millimeter) wide blade (25% wider than most blades) which allows for easier to read graphics and a stonger, stiffer blade during use. This allows for 11 feet (3.3 meters) of blade standout without collapse. A heavy-duty Mylar "blanket wrap" coating extends blade life up to ten times longer than standard blades. The corrosion-resistant hook is attached to the blade with three rivets, and can grab on the side, top or bottom.
