CRL 10-32 Rivet Inserts / Thread-Serts - Package of 100

These CRL Aluminum Klik Thread-Serts are a versatile threaded fastener that can be used with sheet metal, plastic, castings, fiberglass or rigid material. Thread-Serts have an unlimited grip range and know no thickness barrier. One size fits all grip ranges from 3/32" (2.38 mm) to infinity. Thread-Serts lend adaptability to cylindricals. No special preparation is needed. A drilled or punched hole is all that is required. The threaded, mechanical hold prevents the fastener from twisting, vibrating loose or falling out. Thread-Serts install almost flush with the application surface. The special installation tool sets these vibration-proof, nearly flush threaded inserts by compression fit, and they hold themselves in place to accept machine bolts and screws in thread sizes from six head-32 thread, to 3/8 inch head-16 thread. These Rivet Inserts can be purchased in bulk, or can be purchased in a Kit which contains one insert tool, mandrels, and a full selection of all seven sizes of nuts and inserts. All are held in a sturdy plastic carrying case with compartmented tray. Tool, mandrels, nuts and inserts are also sold separately.
