Low Modulus, One-Component, Smooth Surface Type Expansion Joint Sealant
Available in Cartridges or Sausage Packs
Available in Several Colors
Tremco DyMonic is a high performance, low modulus, one-component, moisture curing, modified polyurethane sealant. DyMonic features a smooth, consistent surface when cured. It requires no priming when used on most common substrates, provided surfaces are dry, clean and free from contaminants. It is supplied in a non-sag consistency which will gun easily with conventional caulking equipment. DyMonic can be used to seal dynamic moving joints in precast concrete panels, curtainwall, and tilt-up panels. Also for expansion and control joints, perimeter caulking of windows and doors, bedding of mullions, frames and panels. It develops a strong adhesive bond that will not deteriorate, and exhibits excellent weather resistance. Typical skin time is 16 hours at 70°F (21°C). Its balance of properties (high strength, low modulus, high recovery) makes it able to withstand moisture, shear and deflection movement. DyMonic exhibits a tenacious adhesion which will not diminish over product life.
Note: Sausage packs require the use of a sausage load caulking gun, such as Part. No. WG51001.
In order to help you better select the correct sealant, we have put together a Silicone and Sealant Selector Chart.
