This Bar for Sliding Glass Doors protects against burglarizing through 36 to 48 inch(91.4 to 121.9 centimeter) sliding glass doors. This simple, yet effective device keeps patio doors from being jimmied by intruders. Quickly and easily install this aluminum bar, which folds down and locks into the edge of the door, or folds up against the jamb when not in use. For added security, the plastic saddle has been redesigned with a key so that the bar cannot be raised from the outside by wires or other devices. This saddle will also keep small children from opening the door from the inside. The rust proof, 3/4 inch square by 48 inch long (1.9 by 121.9 centimeter) aluminum bar comes in a mill finish and has a cadmium plated steel hinge bracket. The bar can be cut down to fit narrower doors.
All necessary hardware is provided, including the plastic saddle and plated steel hinge bracket.
