This CRL Makita Straight Shear provides fast cutting action (4,500 strokes per minute) in up to 20 gauge mild steel, 24 gauge stainless steel and 1/16 inch (1.6 millimeter) aluminum. Minimum outside cutting radius of 1-3/16 inch (30 millimeter) for close right or left curve cuts with a smooth edge. Removes a continuous metal curl with no material distortion. Compact and lightweight at only 2.9 pounds (1,315 grams) this unit also features a sliding thumb on/off switch for easy one handed operation.
