CRL J6 Taper Water Coolant Chuck

Build your own glass drilling machine using a CRL Water Coolant Chuck and your industrial drill press. Perfect for high volume drilling of small pieces, vases, lamps, etc. Accepts our Belgian Threaded Drills, and provides optimum performance by supplying coolant continuously through the center of the drill. Coolant pressure ejects core out of diamond drill after drilling cycle is completed. Our Taper Type Water Coolant Chucks replace your machine's adjustable jaw chuck. Hollow spindle machines will require a transition arbor of our supply. Barbed water inlets fit your 3/8 inch (10 millimeter) I.D. supply hose. After extensive use, CRL Water Coolant Chucks can be rebuilt with our special kit , which includes: two bronze bushings, rubber seals and circlips.
Always wear the proper safety gear including gloves and eye protection when drilling glass. Work should be performed on a flat, horizontal surface. A Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter must be used when using any type of electric tool in conjunction with water or coolant. Failure to follow any of these precautions can result in operator injury.
