CRL Dap Latex Glazing is an easy-working compound for back bedding and face glazing window sash. It adheres well to wood, aluminum, steel and galvanized sash for a weathertight seal. Its smooth, consistent texture can be applied directly from the cartridge, requires no kneading and resists shrinking and cracking. 10.1 fluid ounce (300 milliliter) tube size features a unique, rectangular shaped nozzle for uniform bead. Excess glazing can be removed with soap and water before it sets. Dries to touch in two hours.

Surfaces should be clean, dry and free of frost. When re-glazing, remove all old putty and bedding using; 4500, PR9000, AK40. Smooth glazing to an angle that sheets water with a putty knife; 2BE118 , 4701 , 2S114 .

Typical dry time before required painting is three to seven days depending on temperature and relative humidity. The white color compound can be painted with latex paint after three days. Oil-based paint may be applied after one week.

Coverage: 33 linear feet (10 meters) at 3/8 inch (9.5 millimeter) x 1/4 inch (6 millimeter) triangular cross section.

Specification: Meets ASTM Spec C-669-95.

Important Note:
Do not thin glazing. Do not apply when air or sash temperatures are below 40 degrees F (4 degrees C). Do not use on plastic windowpanes, insulating glass units with an organic seal, any windowpane over 48 inches (1,219 millimeters) in length, or metal sash with rabbets over 1-1/4 inch (32 millimeters) wide. Also not recommended for stained/leaded glass projects. Check can label and Specification Data Sheet for additional limitations.
