CRL 3M™ CP25WB+ Fire Barrier Caulk is a water based, premium, intumescent, latex-based sealant offering outstanding fire performance plus a non-halogen formula. In addition, the unique intumescent property (expanding when heated) means that as cable and pipe insulation is consumed by fire, 3M Fire Barrier Caulk expands to fill and hold the penetration closed. As little as 1/2 inch (13 millimeter) can effectively firestop the opening. Bonds to concrete, metals, wood and cable jacketing. No mixing required. Dries tack-free in approximately ten to 15 minutes and is paintable after a 72 hour cure. Only minimal amounts necessary to fill the void
